Oh, this day starts out tame enough with our normal event, weather permitting. We head down to Tacoma for America's Car Museum's big end of the season bash called the Summer-Ender Fender-Bender which is a rain-or-shine event. So if we're rained out on Saturday, there is still something fun to do at the museum! Come join us as we will all be there!
All six Lamborghinis will be here that day. Just kidding! Just Kidding! Come on! Actually, we should have a very nice showing of Lamborghinis from the community. While its true that they are outnumbered by Ferraris, they are still a sight to behold when they show up and we have some incredible examples here in the Northwest.
The Lamborghini community has grown a lot since we first started E@RTC on that cold day in February 2009. We actually used an LP640 roadster as a hand warmer. One of the founders was a Lamborghini owner and so our roots are there from day-uno.
If you plan to show your Lamborghini, we suggest you get there early so we can get you in the best spot for photos.
This is one of our larger car events as measured by the number of Porsches that come out each year. The Porsche Club is very large and well organized and able to draw some of the most enthusiastic members to come join us on this day. We usually reach maximum capacity so be sure to come early!
This is an amazing event where you will see some of the most valuable and coveted Ferraris in the US. We're not kidding even a little. This is truly a special event and we feel extremely fortunate to have some of the most serious collectors participate in this wonderful day. Each year you get to see Ferraris that are so rare people come a very long way just to see them. You don't want to miss this day.
This is one of our favorite events. We've had bad luck with weather for British Car Day two years in a row and we hope this isn't the case this year. Without a doubt, this is the most polite and gracious group to come and visit us each year. The event is extremely popular with both participants and spectators and some of these beauties are rarely seen outside of this event.
Because it's such a huge draw, we recommend that all participants get there early!
Even thought E@RTC is canceled this Saturday, ACM is still having their show because it's indoors so head down to Tacoma to attend the grand opening of the exotics exhibit!
This spring America’s Car Museum will open its latest exhibit Exotics@ACM – Seductive Super Cars. Opening May 5, Exotics@ACM will focus on the crème de la crème of exotic cars that embody the world’s best designs, technology and performance.
The Exotics@ACM exhibit will frame the story around cars built in the last fifty years with an emphasis on those launched in the 21st Century. While encouraging a dialog with guests as to what cars “fit” in an exotic car exhibit, the Museum will focus on brand, design, technology and performance to guide the exhibit’s visual imagery, storytelling and vehicle selection.
Private owners wishing to participate in the exhibit have an opportunity to nominate their cars for consideration by the ACM Curation staff. Ultimately, twenty-five cars will be selected for the first rotation of the year-long exhibit. To keep the exhibit fresh, subsequent rotations will occur throughout the lifespan of Exotics@ACM.
