Well, it looks like we’re…

…on for another great Saturday at E@RTC! This looks like it could be the last 85 degree day for a while. Maybe for the summer. You never know in Seattle, so come out and see some cars, bring some cars, talk about some cars, talk about that time you made eggs with the wrong mushrooms from the back yard and woke up naked in a bush two miles from home with a carnival wristband you never heard of before. Or that time you got locked in a Taco Bell bathroom and couldn’t get the smell of burning rubber off you for two weeks. Doesn’t everyone have one of those stories?

You mean to tell me you never did anything like ride your bike off a ramp while forgetting to stand off the seat? First time I did that, I went back to my room and locked the door. Mom had to bring me a bag of ice. It was about that time that she was thinking she’d have stuffed me back up inside her for another month if it meant birthing a smarter kid.

We know there are a lot of car shows out there, and we’re extremely grateful that you take the time to make ours so special. Because of our reputation, we get people coming a long way just to see E@RTC. It’s easy to forget that the special car we own is someone else’s dream car and they drive a long way just to see what you have. Some even fly in and make E@RTC their priority over other things to see and do in the Northwest. So come out and make someone very happy while making new friends. We only have a few Saturday’s remaining in the season before the whole thing goes to crap.

According to Cliff Mass our favorite atmospheric scientist, fall has already begun this year. If you don’t read his stuff, it’s all kind of interesting about the Northwest. I learn a lot about what makes the Northwest so unique.

Don’t forget on the 9th, Ford Motor Company will be in town for the two day Electrify Expo event held at Marymoor Park the weekend of the 9th and 10th. This gets a little confusing, so for those from Fresno, give up now.

To promote the event, Ford will be attending E@RTC and bringing the F150-Lightning and the Ford Mustang Mach-E to E@RTC on the morning of the 9th before they head over to Marymoor park to join the expo. Here is the registration link and by registering at this fine link, you are able to receive a wristband to Electrify Expo over at the park.

We’ve also agreed to allocate space for EVs at E@RTC for this one-time event before they head over to Marymoor park. Space will be limited for EVs that day, but they are welcome at E@RTC! Shocking we know!

Join the Ford Motor Company representatives as they will be providing breakfast & coffee even if you don’t drive an EV and are just standing there with your hands in your pockets. You can register at this link to receive a wristband to attend Electrify Expo at Marymoor Park to test drive electric vehicles, scooters, bikes and see the future in Electrification. To learn more about Electrify Expo you can visit this nifty link to Electrify Expo. Come join us that morning then head over to Marymoor park after E@RTC. They tell us they are going to cook something with an EV. We just hope it’s not liver and onions.

BRITISH CAR DAY is September 16th! Don’t miss that either. It’s our last special event of the season.
